Are you driving on an expired licence?
The Road Safety Authority is yet again reminding all drivers to check their licence expiry date and, should they have to, renew their licence. Many people forget to check the expiry date on their driver’s licence and could be driving while their licence is out of date without realising they are doing so.
You can renew a licence up to three months before its expiry date but, if your licence has expired for 10 years or more, you must reapply and take a driver theory test, driving lessons and a driving test.
You can renew your licence using your verified MyGovID on NDLS.ie
